Product development can be described as the process of bringing new products into the market, innovation of new products as well as revamping old concepts to revive them. The Food Design Agency is an innovation and trend hub where we are able to take your product from conceptualisation to final product. We specialise in the development of recipes, utilising products to show case their potential in exciting ways. Not only do we create exciting recipes and concepts but we also do Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) development, food styling and copywriting to compliment the recipes.
All Gold
Our development is influenced by cuisine from all corners of the world. Chef Jodi-Ann has had the opportunity to work with some of the maestros of the South African and International chef scene including Billy Gallagher, Bertus Basson and Craig Cormack. She has also worked for a diverse number of successful restaurants and food chains, including Woolworths Culinary Centre, La Colombe Restaurant, The Five Flies, PCP with Garth Shnier and The French Laundry in California with the acclaimed Chef, Thomas Keller.

She has developed new product lines for Nandos Chickenland (including the Peri Deli menu), YUM!, McCormick, McCain, Sky Chefs, Slo-Jo, SUGO Rosso, Mugg & Bean and Southern Sun. Most recently, she had successfully developed recipes for brands such as All Gold.

    The Food Design Agency has qualifies in-house dieticians offering a nutritional analysis and dietetic service, which means that we are on top of of our game in healthy eating and nutritionally balanced cuisine.

    Skills development and essential training is a big part of the ethos at The Food Design Agency. We believe that it is essential to grow people and invest time into individuals. With the correct training and enough motivation anyone can have the opportunity to be something unique and amazing. We strive to harness individuals with the skills to pursue their dreams.

    Social Upliftment
    Corporate social investment and social upliftment is a must for any business and that is why we spend time in our communities teaching, sharing knowledge and assisting where we can. We work with children at various hospitals allowing them the opportunity to have fun with food and laugh. We work with communities in sustainable farming programmes and up-skill the underprivileged by teaching them to cook. We also host charity events where we try to treat the less fortunate to a memorable food experience.
