The KZN Good Food and Wine Show took place in Durban from the 28th through until the 31st July and was a great success. Jodi-Ann represented The Food Design Agency in all of the major theatres.
On Thursday the 28th Jodi-Ann demonstrated two of her favourite dishes risotto-style barley served with seared scallops and a gorgeous citrus soufflé with white chocolate ganache.
Jodi-Ann, together with
Fry's Vegetarian and
MIC Decocraft (who supplied all our gorgeous OE) demonstrated on the health and wellness stand show casing just how easy it is to make delicious vegetarian dishes that are quick and any meat eater would be desperate to devour. The hit of the stand was most certainly the baby butter curry bunny chow's. Try them out!
A definite highlight of the show came on Sunday where I had the opportunity to run a BBC LIFESTYLE hands on cookery class with
Alvin from
MasterChef Australia. Yes girls and boys, he is most certainly as sweet and kind in real life as he is on television! We had a huge crowd and had a wonderful time social networking whilst cooking! We produced a gorgeous Korean fish curry and very sexy almond meringue roulade with lemon cream and berries.
